INSPECTION / EVALUATION
Firstly, before we can determine whether your roof needs repairs or a full replacement, a thorough inspection is essential. One of our roofing experts at Titan Roofing will assess the condition of your roof and identify any storm damage. If for instance only minor repairs are needed, we’ll take care of those for you! Should more extensive work be required, we’ll guide you through the process of filing a claim with your insurance provider and support you every step of the way. Here’s how the process typically unfolds:
SCHEDULE ADJUSTER APPOINTMENT
Once you file your insurance claim, your provider will contact you to set up an appointment with an adjuster.
NOTIFY US WHEN THE APPOINTMENT IS SCHEDULED
So, as soon as you schedule an appointment with the adjuster, let us know. From that point forward, you can direct any questions from your insurance provider to us with a simple, “Please speak to my contractor.”
ADJUSTER APPOINTMENT
During the adjuster appointment, a representative from Titan Roofing will be on-site to advocate for your claim. Certainly, having a contractor present significantly increases the chances of your roof to be approve by the insurance provider.
FIRST CHECK & ESTIMATE
After that, if your roof is declared totaled, therefore, your insurance provider will generate an estimate known as the Replacement Cost Value (RCV). The estimate accounts for depreciation based on the age of your roof, resulting in the Actual Cash Value (ACV). After deducting your insurance deductible, that is to say that the remaining balance is your Net Claim, which will be issued as your first check.
PAYMENT IS MADE
When you receive your first check, we’ll collect it along with your deductible. You won’t need to worry about cashing the check; simply endorse it, and we’ll handle the rest. We’ll deposit the checks and promptly schedule your roof installation.
Note: If your mortgage company is listed on the check, don’t worry—we’ll manage the endorsement process.
You just need to sign an authorization form, and we’ll take care of the rest.
INSTALLATION
Meanwhile, roof installation typically takes just one day. On installation day, please move any fragile items and vehicles out of the driveway to give us room for our trailer and materials. This also helps protect your vehicle during the installation process.
ADDITIONAL TRADES
In addition, your insurance claim might cover other repairs, such as gutters, window screens, AC units, fencing, garage doors, or chimney work. We’ll complete all additional work related to your claim as soon as possible after your roof is installed.
FINAL INVOICE AND CHECK
Above all, after completing all necessary work, we’ll submit a final invoice and a certificate of completion to your insurance provider. We’ll also negotiate any supplemental payments. Before confirming that the work is done with your insurance provider, please check with us first. Once everything is finalized, your insurance provider will release the depreciation check and any other outstanding amounts.
FINAL PAYMENT
When you receive the final payment, simply endorse the check and hand it over to us. We’ll take care of the rest, including submitting your manufacturer warranty and providing you with any necessary forms to help you renegotiate your insurance premium.
REFERRALS AND REVIEWS
Moreover, once your project is completed, we hope you’ll be 100% satisfied with our work. If so, we’d greatly appreciate it if you could leave us a review on Google and share your experience with friends and family. In addition, we also offer referral fees for any new jobs you send our way that result in an installation.
