When it's time for a new roof

A roof replacement makes sense when repairs stop solving the problem: shingles are curling, cracking or losing granules, leaks keep returning, there is widespread hail or wind damage, or the roof is simply at the end of its life. In the Flathead Valley, heavy snow and repeated freeze–thaw cycles make an aging roof more likely to leak, so it pays to act before winter.

Our roof replacement process

  1. Inspection & quote

We inspect the roof, decking and ventilation and give you a clear, competitive written quote.

  2. Material selection

Choose your roofing: asphalt shingles, standing seam or snap-lock metal, or Brava synthetic cedar shake.

  3. Complete tear-off

We remove the old roofing down to the deck so problems underneath can be found and fixed.

  4. New roof installation

Underlayment, flashing, ventilation and the new roof surface are installed by our crew.

  5. Cleanup & walkthrough

We clean the job site and walk you through the finished roof.

Asphalt shingle roof replacement

Asphalt shingles are the most common roof on Flathead Valley homes, and they are a large part of the residential replacements we do. We hold Owens Corning manufacturer credentials, so the shingle system — underlayment, starter, shingles, ridge and ventilation — is installed to spec and carries the warranty coverage it should.

Roof replacement built for Montana winters

A new roof is the right time to fix ventilation. Balanced attic ventilation helps reduce the warm-roof conditions that lead to ice dams. If hail is a concern, ask about Class 4 impact-resistant options such as Brava synthetic shake. If your replacement is due to storm damage, we can help with the insurance claim. While the roof is open, it is also a good time to deal with skylights, gutters, fascia and soffit.

Questions

Roof Replacement FAQs

How long does a roof replacement take?

Many residential roof replacements take a few days, depending on the size and pitch of the roof, the material and the weather. We give you a timeline with your quote, and customers frequently mention how fast our crews work.

Do you remove the old roof?

Yes. Our roof replacements include a full tear-off of the old roofing so the deck can be inspected and damaged areas addressed before the new roof goes on.

Will insurance pay for my roof replacement?

If the roof was damaged by a covered event such as hail or wind, your policy may cover replacement. We are HAAG certified for damage inspection and can inspect, document the damage and help you through the claim.

What roofing materials can I choose from?

We install asphalt shingles, standing seam and snap-lock metal, Tuff Rib and PBR panels, and Brava synthetic shake. We walk you through the options during your estimate.

Do you offer financing?

Yes. We offer financing through Service Finance Company. Terms, approval and rates are set by the lender and depend on your credit. See our financing page to apply, or call (406) 471-8950.
